About

"Inner Maple Leaves" is a colouring book with 150 maple leaf drawings created by Donald Lee to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday.

The Maple Leaf Flag became Canada's flag on 15 February 1965,  Since then, the stylized, 11-pointed red maple leaf has become ubiquitous.  From the national flag, to organization logos, to product design, the maple leaf has given us identity and made us proud.

The maple leaf drawings in this book conform to the stylized, 11-pointed maple leaf.  Within its silhouette, lines and shapes were spontaneously drawn to create abstract and distinct maple leaf images.  Colour them to create personal maple leaves that represent you.  Be bold and creative, express your sentiments towards this beautiful country of ours.

Donald Lee is a Canadian art maker with a focus on abstract drawings.
