Colouring a Maple Leaf Drawing with Pigment Ink Brush Pens

The maple leaf line drawing was first printed from a laser printer, then transferred onto a 5 x 7 inches blank greeting card (printmaking paper) using nail polish remover (acetone). Colouring was done in brush pens containing pigment ink (Faber Castell PITT artist pens). After drying, the ink is no longer water soluble, allowing additional ink layers be added. While the ink was still wet, a tiny brush with clean water was used to create gradation effect. The finished colouring card is placed inside an Ikea photo frame (GUNNABO).
